McDonough Dental Care – Dr. Patrick Sean McDonough

Dr. Patrick Sean McDonough is also originally born and raised in Burlington , Ontario.  He then traveled to Kingston to complete his undergraduate degree at Queens University where he also played on the Varsity Men’s Hockey team , one year being coached by Kirk Muller. Patrick graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biochemistry.

From Queens Patrick was accepted to dental school where he graduated from The University of Western Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, Class of 2012. Patrick was involved in a number of sports programs and charity fundraisers including the planning and organizing of the 4th annual ODA Cup that his brother started at U of T .  Dr. Patrick was also awarded the chance to travel to Moosefactory Northern Ontario for a 2 week Emergency dental elective where he was to provide treatment to the native communities of Attawapiskat and Kashechewan.

Patrick now resides in Burlington and continues to remain active in sports leagues in the area.  for the past 5 years he continues to volunteer to help coach special Olympics athletes in track and field and softball.  Dr. Patrick who currently works part-time, associating at three dental practices hopes to one day work full-time along with his father and brother.  Dr. Patrick offers the newest up-to-date dental techniques and knowledge to his patients with a caring and gentle approach.    He is currently a member of the Hamilton Academy of Dentistry, Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and the Academy of General Dentistry.  Below is a list of continuiing Ed courses and awards.
